Usage Guidelines

Photography can be used across all communications. Different styles of photography should be used in each of the following areas.

People & Locations
Photography involving people should focus on either in-store or lifestyle experiences featuring employees and customers. Subjects should always be shot in a positive light, that feels personal, friendly and warm. Photography should reflect positively on the Dash In Brand, showcasing subjects such as good customer-employee interactions, happy staff, fresh food preparation, and customers enjoying Dash In products on-the-go. Photography should always aim to convey an inviting atmosphere. Shots of our stores should always be well lit and captured with a high definition camera.

Food & Beverage
Photography involving food and beverage should focus on products that are freshly prepared. Any items should be photographed and styled professionally, in settings that convey that the product has been prepared with love. The backgrounds should be clean and blurred where possible, which will allow for text or graphic elements to sit on top. The styling should aim for artisan, while not feeling too highly polished. Ditch fast food packaging in favor of interesting surfaces or backgrounds where appropriate. We want to convey good food in a hurry, not fast food.
